The evening will kick off with Kendra Murray, Senior Corporate and Sales Manager at Dave & Buster’s, who will give us an inside look into the upcoming new Dave & Buster’s location at Ala Moana. Kendra will share some exciting details about what we can expect from the revamped space, including new games, dining experiences, and more.

Following the presentation, the main event of the evening—a dynamic speed networking session—will begin. Guests will have the chance to connect with fellow professionals in a 3-minute rotating format, maximizing your networking opportunities in a fun and engaging way.

Kendra was born and raised in Houghton Lake, Michigan, and graduated from Central Michigan University. She interned in West Palm Beach, Florida, at the PGA National Resort & Spa. In 1994, upon graduation, she began her career at Colonial Williamsburg Hotels & Resort in Williamsburg, VA, in the hotel sales & marketing department as a National Sales Manager.

In 1996, she moved to Maui to be with her future husband, Mike, and accepted a Sales Manager position with Planet Hollywood in Lahaina. She quickly advanced to Regional Sales Manager and then Director of Sales & Marketing for Maui and Honolulu. She married Mike in 1998, and they moved to Oahu in 1999, where they currently reside in Hawaii Kai with their two daughters, Kayla (23), a model and fitness instructor in LA, and Makenna (21), a collegiate volleyball player at Cisco College in Texas.

In 2001, she was recruited to open Dave & Buster’s Honolulu and has been with the company for over 20 years. Under her leadership, the D&B Honolulu store holds the #1 spot in the company for Special Events revenue, executing over 2,500 events annually. She has served on several industry boards, including MPI, HSMAI, and HEA, and is a past president of HSMAI and HEA.

In her free time, she enjoys volunteering at church, going to the beach with her two dogs, Bella and Mochi, hiking, traveling, working out, and spending time with family and friends.
