You’re invited to join SME Honolulu in honoring Peter Savio, the 2024 Salesperson of the Year (SPOY) recipient.
Peter Savio, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Savio Group of Companies, exemplifies the spirit of the Salesperson of the Year award — someone who has enhanced the image of Hawai‘i and the quality of life in our community.
A distinguished and widely respected figure in Hawai‘i’s real estate sector, Peter brings over 50 years of proven expertise in addressing the housing and agricultural needs of the community. His leadership has been instrumental in advancing homeownership opportunities, developing affordable housing initiatives, and supporting sustainable farming projects. Through his unwavering commitment, Peter has made a lasting impact by helping countless Hawai‘i residents achieve the dream of owning a home or farm.
Born in Hilo and raised in Honolulu, Peter earned a BA in Business Administration with a major in Real Estate from the University of Hawai‘i and has been a licensed broker since 1973.
Savio has spent decades working towards affordable housing and farming projects for Hawai‘i residents. Through Savio Realty Ltd. and Savio Development Company, he continues to lead innovative housing efforts. His recent work includes the ʻOhana Farm Parcels on Oʻahu, a lease-to-own program that gives families access to agricultural land. He’s also partnering with the City and County of Honolulu on the Varona Village project in ʻEwa, where current tenants can buy homes for under $150,000 and new homes will be sold below market value. These efforts reflect the values of the SPOY award: improving lives and strengthening Hawai‘i’s communities.
