About the Speaker:
Jan is a proud UH Mānoa graduate, holding a BBA in Accounting, a BA in Speech, and a Certificate in Organizational Development from the University of Central Missouri.
Since 2011, she has served as President/CEO of Dale Carnegie Training Hawaii and is a certified Dale Carnegie Master Trainer in Leadership, Sales, Communications, and Customized Corporate Programs. Jan works with individuals and teams to become more effective leaders, top-producing sales professionals, and inspiring customer service teams.
Passionate about helping others go from good to great in strategy, sales, and service, she also gives back to the community, serving as VP of the Honolulu Executives Association and vice-chair of the AFCAC board supporting Hawaii’s Air Force community.
Jan has been recognized by Pacific Business News as one of Hawaii’s Top Small Business Leaders and earned a Millennium Award from Dale Carnegie & Associates as a Top 10 Growth Franchisee in North America. This year, she is again recognized as a “WOW Trainer,” ranking in the top 10% of trainers worldwide for NPS scores.
Jan enjoys life with her son, Matthew, and her partner in life and business, Tom Jones. She loves reading, travel, cooking, music, and lifelong learning.
