SME Honolulu is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization committed to advancing excellence in sales and marketing across Hawai‘i. SME Honolulu provides a platform for professionals to exchange insights, expand their networks, and grow their careers through engaging events and educational programs in a welcoming, social environment.
Our mission is to support the professional development of our members by fostering fellowship and collaboration at the local, national, and international levels. For more than 75 years, SME Honolulu has been led by some of the most accomplished leaders in Hawai‘i’s sales and marketing community and remains a trusted space for innovation, connection, and recognition in the industry.
Each year, SME Honolulu proudly hosts the Salesperson of the Year (SPOY) Gala, a longstanding tradition that honors an outstanding professional who has made significant contributions to Hawai‘i’s business landscape. Honorees are recognized not only for their achievements in sales and marketing but also for their integrity, leadership, and impact on the broader community.
To become a member of SME Honolulu, simply fill out the membership form available on our Membership page. After completing the form, you can proceed to pay the membership fee online. If you prefer, you can also download the form and email it to info@smehonolulu.org, and a member of our team will respond promptly to assist you.
We host monthly events on the third Tuesday of each month. Visit our Events page to see details about the upcoming event and join us for networking, learning, and professional growth.
To join one of our monthly meetings, visit our Events page and click on the most recent event post. It will take you to the Eventbrite page where you can purchase tickets. SME Honolulu hosts monthly events on the third Tuesday of each month.

To join the SME Honolulu Board of Directors, you must first be an SME member. Once a member, you can reach out to any current board member to express your interest. SPOY stands for Salesperson of the Year, SME Honolulu’s premier annual event.
